These microbiological reference materials are designed for use as quantitative control for pharmaceutical culture analysis. The single strain ISO 17034 certified reference material is formulated to recover approximately 10,000 CFU/pellet by cultural plating techniques. For your convenience, each pack includes ten culture pellets individually vacuum sealed in 5 mL glass vials. The culture pellet lyophilized in Microgel-Flash™ matrix dissolves almost instantly with minimum agitation and no incubation. Rehydration of a single 10,000 CFU/pellet in 100 mL fluid would provide 100 CFU per mL. Following this prescribed rehydration scheme provides up to 100 replicate tests per hydrated pellet. Extra activity listed on Certificate of Analysis (CoA). Store in the freezer.
