These microbiological reference materials are designed for use as quantitative control for pharmaceutical culture analysis. The single strain ISO 17034 certified reference material is formulated to recover approximately 10,000 CFU/pellet by cultural plating techniques. For your convenience, each pack includes ten culture pellets individually vacuum sealed in 5 mL glass vials. The culture pellet lyophilized in Microgel-Flash™ matrix dissolves almost instantly with minimum agitation and no incubation. Rehydration of a single 10,000 CFU/pellet in 100 mL fluid would provide 100 CFU per mL. Following this prescribed rehydration scheme provides up to 100 replicate tests per hydrated pellet.
