More About this Item
The MicroCNX® genderless nano connectors offer a fast, simple, and secure solution for connecting tubing in small-format biomanufacturing assemblies. Available with 1/8” and 1/16” hose barb terminations, they are compatible with a wide range of tubing materials including silicone, TPE, and PVC. Engineered to withstand ultra-low temperatures down to -190°C, the connectors are ideal for integration with freezing cassettes used in cell and gene therapy (CGT) processing.
Designed for aseptic operation, the connectors maintain a closed flow path—ensuring sterile connections even in non-sterile environments. They eliminate the need for tube welding, helping reduce setup time and overall costs. Operation is intuitive: pinch to remove the protective cover, align and join the two halves, then squeeze until you hear an audible "click." Finally, pull away the membrane strips to complete the sterile connection.
The connectors are purpose-built for secure, sterile fluid transfer in CGT and other biological media applications.
