These sturdy BRAND® test tube racks keep their stability when submerged in water. The multipurpose racks are great in water baths, as well as transporting or storing test tubes. The racks hold test tubes with the various diameters: up to 30 mm using the 21-tube (7 x 3) rack; up to 25 mm for the 32-tube (8 x 4) rack, and up to 20 mm for the 40-tube (4 x 10) rack. The two versions of the 55-tube (5 x 11) racks can hold tubes with diameters up to 16 mm and 18 mm, while the 84-tube (6 x 14) rack, up to 13 mm in diameter.

They have an operating temperature range of -20 to 90°C, and autoclavable at 121°C. The racks are 265 mm long and 88 mm tall for the 21-, 32- and 40-tube racks, and 265 mm long and 75 mm tall for the 55- and 84-tube racks; all in which have a width of about 126 mm.
