  16. Are these dataloggers calibrated?
  17. Traceable products come calibrated to NIST standards and meet both quality and regulatory requirements.

  18. Are sensors/probes replaceable?
  19. Yes, sensors are replaceable. In such a scenario, the full system will need to be calibrated again.

  20. Will you get any instructions with regards to sensor placement?
  21. You will receive the instructions based on the equipment and application. In order to get the best results in terms, we recommend customers to use two probes per refrigerator; one at the back nearest to the compressor/coil locations while the other needs to be installed at the furthest point near the door. Some VFC guides also direct that a single probe be placed at the centre of the refrigerator.

  22. How many readings & alarm events can be collected and stored in each device?
  23. A total of 672 readings per channel (7 days at a 15 min interval) and 100 stored alarm events.

  24. Can a device be manually configured with a static IP address?
  25. Devices with a desired static IP are usually controlled from other locations. As a security measure, TraceableLIVE® devices cannot be actively controlled.

  26. What is life expectancy of battery?
  27. Six months at default 15-minute communicating interval.

  28. During battery replacement, how to ensure no lost data?
  29. In order to ensure that data is not lost, users need to change/replace batteries between scheduled logging times. Each device will be able to retain the stored data that has not yet transmitted even after battery removal/replacement. Recorded data will be erased only after confirmation of transmission and transfer to the cloud storage.

  30. After a low battery alarm is received, what is the expected time to complete depletion?
  31. The first alarm goes off when the device battery has 20% charge remaining. Under usual circumstances a battery life of 2+ weeks remains. A reminder notification is sent once per 24-hours post the initial warning.

  32. What affects would low signal strength have on the product?
  33. Inconsistent device connectivity, reduced battery life.
