The robust AREX 5 analog stirring hot plates are designed for applications ranging from basic to temperature-sensitive where precise sample thermoregulation is required. The units are safe to use. A hot plate warning icon illuminates when the temperature is above 50 °C (122 °F). Internal electronic parts are protected by the insulated disk and die-cast aluminum housing.

The 135 mm diameter CerAlTop™ aluminum alloy heating top plate ensures temperature homogeneity and optimum heat distribution across the entire surface. The plate is resistant to thermal stress and shock. A special ceramic coating ensures high resistance to chemical agents and surface abrasion.
