This constant monitoring and adjustment keeps the temperature stable without the fluctuations found with compressors that cycle on and off, or with periods of door openings. The tight internal air circulation eliminates the risk of freezing which can ruin valuable samples. A large 4.5" full color TFT-LCD user interface makes operation simple and easy. The icon based touchscreen controller features all the parameters for operation and includes password protection, adjustable lighting, built-in datalogging, USB port, and an ergonomic tilted design. Audible and visual alarms alert user to power fail, high temp, low, temp, low battery memory full, and door ajar. Removal of compressor allows for almost 2-times more storage than units of similar size and footprint.
