For operational convenience, this bath is equipped with a tilting, see-through polycarbonate cover which drains back into the bath when opened. The lid is gabled to allow for taller vessels. The port in the top deck to accommodate an optional tap-water cooling coil, and an integral 1-speed (simplex) pump which can be used to circulate the bath liquid to other instruments using a closed-loop configuration. For added safety and durability, the bath features a precision molded phenolic top deck that remains cooler at high temperatures and is easily cleaned and disinfected. All wetted components are corrosion-resistant stainless steel and high-performance polymer.
