This Ohaus Frontier Mini centrifuge has a small footprint of 16.8 cm x 15 cm (6.6" x 5.9") yet offers a powerful and rapid liquid separation. Simply plug in, load your samples, close the lid, and press the power switch on to operate. The centrifuge has a maximum speed of 6000 rpm and 2000 RCF for rapid liquid separation.
Quickly and easily install and remove rotors without the use of any tools. The centrifuge comes with an 8-position 1.5/2 mL tube rotor as well as a 4-position 8-strip PCR tube rotor that can accommodate 32 individual PCR tubes or 0.2 mL strip tubes. For added versatility, the included adapters for the 8-position tube rotor also accommodate 0.2 mL and 0.5 mL strip tubes.
A rotor imbalance sensor stops the rotor when imbalanced load is detected or sudden shock occurs and two safety switches ensure the rotor stops immediately if the lid opens while the centrifuge is in rotation keeping operators safe. A low voltage power input, quiet motor, and rubber base that absorbs vibrations keep noise to a minimum. Brushless motor offers a long service life.
