These microbiological reference materials are designed for use as quantitative control for environmental water analysis. To use, simply transfer the pellet to a sterile room temperature hydration fluid. The culture pellet lyophilized in Microgel-Flash™ matrix dissolves almost instantly with minimum agitation and no incubation. Directly inoculate media without serial dilution for convenience.

Use HPC standard as a quantitative control for Heterotrophic/Total Viable counts analyses by Plate count or SimPlate® count method. The Certificate of Analysis (CoA) lists value assignments and acceptance limits for both MPN and plate count methods. Store in the freezer.
