To use, simply transfer the pellet to a sterile room temperature hydration fluid. The culture pellet lyophilized in Microgel-Flash™ matrix dissolves almost instantly with minimum agitation and no incubation. Directly inoculate media without serial dilution for convenience.

Use E. coli NCTC 9001 culture as a quantitative control for water coliform analyses. The Certificate of Analysis (CoA) lists value assignments for six water coliform test parameters: Total coliform, Fecal Coliform, and E. coli by both MPN methods and SM plate count methods. Store in the freezer.
