These microbiological reference materials are designed for use as quantitative control for environmental water analysis. To use, simply transfer the pellet to a sterile room temperature hydration fluid. The culture pellet lyophilized in Microgel-Flash™ matrix dissolves almost instantly with minimum agitation and no incubation. Directly inoculate media without serial dilution for convenience.

Use P. aeruginosa NCTC 12951 culture as a negative control for water coliform analysis or as a positive quantitative control for water pseudomonas analysis. The Certificate of Analysis (CoA) lists value assignments for MPN methods and plate count methods. Store in the freezer.
