With heating elements surrounding the tube across a full 360° axis the heat is distributed evenly across the full cross-section of the product. The three-zone design divides the heating area into three zones with one thermocouple per zone. The two end zones are controlled by a setpoint offset in relation to the middle zone providing better temperature accuracy.
