Environmental Express® Katanax® provides a full range of high-quality, high-purity fusion fluxes for use with our top-of-the-line fluxer. They are composed of the highest purity grade raw material on the market to achieve less than 0.05% impurity. Available in pure analytical (99.99% purity) and ultra-pure (99.998+% purity) grades.

The micro-bead form contains spherical flux particles that limit hygroscopic properties and water absorption to prevent humidity accumulation. The absence of dust particles eliminates error from flux losses on weighing containers.

The granular form has optimal mixing properties. The sample adheres to the crystals, preventing layer segregation. Its crystallin uniformity eliminates popcorn effect potential from phase shift.

Both forms are high-density to prevent crucible overflows. Optional lithium bromide (LiBr) or iodide (LiI) can be pre-fused in the flux to reduce weighing times and increase analytical accuracy. Pre-weighed sachets also reduce potential for technician error and increase the precision of results up to ±1 mg.
