The CPC (Colder) MCD series quick-disconnect hose barb body and insert fittings feature an automatic shutoff valve which closes and seals the fluid pathway upon decoupling, protecting the sterility on each side of the system. Simply push the thumb latch to disconnect. The thumb latch is designed so only one hand is required to safely connect and disconnect the fittings quickly, even with gloves on.

These chrome-plated brass fittings are built to endure the most demanding applications and are ideal for use with higher temperatures or pressures.
