This freezing system constructed of uniform-density cross-linked polyethylene foam with a solid-state core cools at a consistent rate, providing living samples the best opportunity to remain viable throughout the freezing and storage process. Easy to use—load your sample tubes and place in the freezer. CoolCell containers rapidly return to room temperature when removed from the freezer, making them easy to handle.

Use filler vials (order separately) when you need to freeze less than a full load of samples to maintain a consistent cooling profile. Order additional vial modules to quickly change out all 30 vials at once. Modules are compatible with standard 5" x 5" x 2" (12.7 x 12.7 x 5.1 cm) cryogenic storage boxes.
