More About this Item

These sterile cell culture dishes are constructed of durable polystyrene and feature stacking beads for easier handling and to prevent accidental lid lift-off. Choose from a variety of dish shapes and surface treatments.

Dish Shape options include a round and square. Round dishes are the industry standard while square plates allow for easier handling and are ideal for the researcher who wishes to culture large numbers of anchorage dependent cells.

Surface Treatment include non-treated, tissue culture (TC) treated, and ultra-low attachment treated. Non-treated dishes are ideal for applications where cell attachment is not desired. TC-treated dishes allow for optimal cell attachment. Ultra-low attachment surface treatment features a covalently bound hydrogel layer that minimizes cell attachment, protein absorption, and cellular activation.

Ideal to maintain cells in a suspended, unattached state; prevent stem cells from attachment-mediated differentiation; prevent anchorage-dependent cells from dividing; and reduce binding of attachment and serum proteins to the substrate.
