Certified vials are tested to confirm that the vials, cap, and septa have been properly manufactured, handled, and packaged for quality results. Vial kits are available HPLC/GC certified or LC/MS and GC/MS certified. Each batch of HPLC/GC certified kits is tested on 15 critical parameters and each lot of LC/MS and GC/MS kits have been tested by LC/MS and GC/MS on traces of blank values and contaminations.

Short thread vials have a 9 mm polypropylene cap with silicone/PTFE septa and are constructed of clear or amber glass with a label and filling lines.
