These inoculating loops, also known as streakers, have been designed to slide easily along agar surfaces without cutting or tearing. Made of twisted nichrome wire with an insulated, light-weight aluminum handle to protect the hand during use, they cool rapidly after sterilization and are more economical than platinum loops. Non-sterile and reusable, they are available calibrated (1µl & 10µl) or non-calibrated (small, medium or large). Handles are color coded for easy identification.

Calibrated loops are supplied with calibration certificates based on ASM/APHA Evans Blue Dye test protocols.
