More About this Item

Certified vials are tested to confirm that the vials, cap, and septa have been properly manufactured, handled, and packaged for quality results. Short thread vials have a wide opening (6.0 mm) with a unique 9-mm thread design that allows you to screw on the caps and still use them in a robotic autosampler. The thread sits much higher on the vial allowing space between the bottom of the thread and the shoulder of the vial.

Glass vials are made of Type I, Class A 33-expansion borosilicate glass. Fused-insert vials are ideal for handling small-volume samples while delivering low residual volume (<8 µL). Total-recovery vials deliver maximum sample capacity (1.2 mL) with minimal residual volume (<1 µL)—use with bottom or side draw-port needles.

Please Note: Vials, caps, and septa formerly under the Kinesis brand have now been rebranded Cole-Parmer. All the same great features and specifications, just with a new and improved look.
