The Cavins CM-3-100 Ultrasonic Cavitation Meter helps verify that ultrasonic cleaning tanks produce the cavitation energy needed for effective cleaning. Cavitation is the microscopic bubble action that provides the mechanical “scrubbing” effect in ultrasonic cleaning, helping loosen soils, grease, and particulate from immersed parts. The meter provides a direct analog reading of cavitation intensity at the probe location.

Use the CM-3-100 to establish baseline readings under known-good operating conditions, then compare future readings to monitor changes in tank performance. It is also useful for evaluating how baskets, fixtures, inserts, and workloads affect ultrasonic energy, and for identifying areas of higher or lower cavitation intensity within a tank.
