Controlling flow in a clean application
Cole-Parmer Instrument Company now offers two-way, solenoid-operated pinch valves specifically designed for its Masterflex tubing lines.
Solenoid-operated pinch valves are ideal for contamination-free pharmaceutical and laboratory process applications. These valves control flow by squeezing tubing closed, and since the fluid remains within the tubing there is no risk of contamination.
These pinch valves operate with Masterflex tubing that has a durometer rating of 50 or less-such as with C-FLEXr or silicone-in sizes L/Sr 14, 16, 17, and 25. They are available in normally closed or normally open configurations.
