Cole-Parmer Instrument Company introduces a new line of Digi-Sense thermistor probes that offer excellent accuracy and quicker response times than typical RTD and thermocouple probes. Standard products include 18 different configurations, but units can be custom manufactured to fit almost any application.
This new line of temperature measurement electrodes is based on the principle that metal oxides change resistance with a change in temperature. Using this technology, the new Digi-Sense thermistor line offers quicker response times and increased long-term stability. These probes also offer higher accuracy of ± 0.2° F within the biological range of 32 to 150° F. Typical markets include medical, biological, HVAC, food and beverage, and environmental.
