The MFC5150 HART communicator can be updated with new device information and firmware updates via the docking station's PC connection. It supports device specific commands as well as Universal and Common Practice communication with HART5, 6 and 7 devices.

Other convenient features include eight selectable languages, both Auto Dim and Auto Standby modes to conserve battery, adjustable backlight intensity, and the complete ISO Latin-1 character set via touch screen.
