More About this Item

These programmable, atmosphere-controlled muffle furnaces are ideal for coal and coke ashing procedures. Easily adjust the flow rate of air (0 to 80 L/min) with the built-in flowmeter located in the front of the furnace.

Stainless steel (SS) manifold pre-warms incoming gases to provide minimum temperature gradient. There is no need to place furnace under a fume hood—connect the stainless steel tubing to exhaust port on top of the furnace for proper ventilation; order tubing kit separately.

The furnace has an eight-segment (four ramp and four dwell) programmable controller and a digital LED that lets you view both the actual and set temperatures. Overtemperature protection cuts off power to the heating elements when chamber temperature exceeds set point.
