Efficient infrared heater combined with a stirrer delivers faster, evenly heated fluids. A 900-watt infrared heater can boil a liter of water over 30% faster than a conventional, 1200-watt ceramic hot plate. Rare earth magnets provide powerful stirring—up to 15 liters—and feedback control from 100 to 1500 rpm.

"Hot" warning light flashes when the plate temperature is above 50 °C and remains lit even when the unit is turned off.

Units feature BioCote antimicrobial protection which reduces the presence of odor and stain causing microbes such as bacteria, mold, and fungi on the product surface by up to 99.99%.
