    • Q:

Is the bottom of the bucket the same diameter as the top? And are there any markings or indentations on the bottom of the bucket?
      Asked on 6/22/2015 by Zach

      1 answer

      • STAFF EXPERT

        A:

The body is tapered to permit one pail to nest inside of another. The diameter at the bottom of the pail is 10-7/16" while the diameter at the top is 11-1/4". This pail does not have graduation markings.

    • Q:

Is this pail with a lid usable in a paint shaker?
Does the lid stay firmly on the pail?
Asked on 1/9/2015 by Veronique from The Netherlands

      • STAFF EXPERT

        A:

Since this is only a snap on top, it would likely not be a good candidate for paint shakers unless there is something that can hold the lid down.

        A:

These pails are excellent for long-term food storage. The lids form an air-tight seal, but must be ordered separately, part number 06274-36 (standard lid) or 06274-42 (lid w/ pour spout).

It would depend greatly on the specific chemical, not the class. Please contact our technical application specialists for additional assistance (contact information can be found on the product web page).
