The Mettler Toledo RM40 and RM50 benchtop refractometers are compact, easy-to-use units suitable for a vast diversity of applications. They have extremely fast heating up-and cooling down rates, maximum accuracy in a minimum amount of time and are simple to clean – the top section can be easily removed and rinsed with tap water without the need for any tools. The color touch screen allows for measurement of your sample with only one click. These feature automated QC results for each product with user-defined upper and lower limits. Both units have a measurement duration time of approximately 15 seconds for quick and accurate results and a minimum sample volume of 0.5 mL. These allow for up to 30 individual users to be assigned and password protected. Both models have a built-in Peltier thermostat and can be connected to a printer, computer, USB stick, or other external devices for easy data handling.
