Features a spring-loaded, rotary latch mechanism, which allows the cover to securely close via gravity or a slight touch of the hand providing an airtight seal. This reduces the potential for the drum lid to be left open by mistake, eliminating the chance for oxygen to enter and start a fire.

Covers are manufactured of steel, with a highly chemical resistant powder-coat finish. You only need a screwdriver and wrench to attachthe cover and it can be quickly removed for emptying the drum contents.

Features a replaceable fusible-link assembly inside the cover that is activated at 165°F (74°C) and automatically slams the cover down to quickly extinguish a fire within the drum.
