More About this Item

Order Flowmeter 32617-24 with your transducer for a complete system!
Ultrasonic flowmeters clamp onto the outside of pipes and do not contact the internal liquid. The technology has inherent advantages over alternate devices including low-cost installation, no pressure head loss, no moving parts to maintain or replace, no fluid compatibility issue, and a large, bidirectional measuring range that ensures reliable readings even at very low and high flow rates. Flowmeters are available in a variety of configurations — select a meter with features suitable to meet your particular application requirements.

      A:

This flow meter is designed to measure the flow of fluid with suspended solids or gas bubbles. All ultrasonic flow meters are designed for liquids, not gasses as they need something (such as the solid) to bounce the signal off as as the flow detection method.
