CP 20 exhibits a low vapor pressure and resists oxidation and thermal degradation—ideal for mechanical vacuum pumps. All types have a specific gravity of 0.86 g/mL.
The CP-20 diffusion pump oil is a double-distilled, highly refined hydrocarbon based diffusion pump fluid that offers high resistance to corrosion. This oil is recommended for processes such as plasma etching, LPCVP, and metallization applications. CP-20 offers an additional benefit to be an excellent quality alternative oil for mechanical pumps as well.
