Q:What is the difference between Super 88 and Super 33 electrical tape? I am a troubleman for an electric utility, and recently our warehouse began stocking super 33 instead of super 88 because it is cheaper. However, the 88 seems to be tougher and more resistant to weathering. Is there a big diffence in weatherproofing or insulating between the two types of tape?
Know the answer? Answer this question
A:The Super 88 and the Super 33 are similar tapes and have the same attributes. The difference is the sizes they are available in. otherwise they are both in the Super series and considered the best quality that 3M offers in electrical tape.
