Bernd Brust serves as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Cole-Parmer Instrument Company. Before joining Cole-Parmer, Mr. Brust served as president and CEO of Qualicaps, a leading provider of capsule manufacturing and processing equipment for pharmaceutical companies, which sold to Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings in 2013.
Prior to his role with Qualicaps, Mr. Brust was Chief Commercial Operations Officer at Life Technologies Corporation and responsible for a $3.5 billion global business. Mr. Brust held prior leadership roles with Invitrogen Corporation (a predecessor to Life Technologies) and with GE Medical Systems.
Jonathan Salkin, President
Jon Salkin serves as Cole-Parmer's President. Beyond his company-wide leadership responsibilities, Jon oversees the company's strategic planning initiatives (including M&A). Prior to joining Cole-Parmer in November 2015, Jon co-founded and served as the Executive Vice President of Devicor Medical Products, a GTCR portfolio company sold to the Danaher Corporation in November 2014. Prior to Devicor, Jon was a Managing Director in the Healthcare group at the Royal Bank of Scotland plc. Jon also had numerous roles in Corporate Development and M&A with Cardinal Health, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (formerly Wasserstein Perella) and Deutche Bank (formerly BT Wolfensohn).
Patrick Marschall CFO and COO
Patrick Marschall serves as CFO and COO. In this role, Patrick oversees the financial and operational strategy for Cole-Parmer. Prior to joining Cole-Parmer Patrick was the President and CEO of FairWarning. FairWarning’s cloud-based security solutions provide data protection and governance for electronic health records, Salesforce, Office 365 and hundreds of other cloud applications. Prior to joining FairWarning, he was CFO for Integrated DNA Technologies. He also spent time at Baxter Healthcare and started his career in Public Accounting at PWC. Patrick received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and holds a Masters degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Mina Canning, SVP, Human Resources and Integrations
Mina serves as the SVP, Human Resources and Integrations for Cole-Parmer. Before joining Cole-Parmer, Mina spent nearly 9 years with Life Technologies in various capacities including VP Talent Management, VP HR for Commercial Operations and the Genetic Sequencing business. Prior to Life Technologies, Mina held numerous HR roles at GSK, Electronic Arts and The Coca-Cola Company.
