One use not mentioned on the package - menopause/hot flashes. This product has been a life saver when the internal furnace kicked on when out and about. Even at home, I have one in the bedroom and one in the office. Puts out a heck of a breeze for such a small fan. Although it does travel with me, it's just a tad too big.\nOverall - it has performed above and beyond what I expected.

I attend the gym at the Haverhill.Ma YMCA and while on the arobics equipment it can get very uncomfortably warm. This fan has enough power and last long so that an hour on the tread mill is much more enjoyable

I use this product at the gym\nI power walk on the teadmill for 60-75 minutes when it is warm in there, this fan has enough power and long life due to the "D" battery to keep a decent breeze on you
