Simply insert any of these compact, 4.5" (11.4 cm) L loggers into your computer USB port, name it, choose your required sampling rate, select high and low alarms if required, and set the logger start time. Once configured, the logger can be removed from the computer to log independently. Data is downloaded back onto the PC where it can be analyzed and viewed as a graph using included software.Models EL-USB-TC accepts type J, K, and T thermocouples via a mini-connector in the base of the unit, and is supplied with a 5 ft (1.5 m) Type K thermocouple probe rated from 32 to 752°F (0 to 400°C). These loggers store more than 32,000 readings.

        A:

        The datalogger unit itself can not be used in that environment. The range of the unit is -10 to 40 degrees C. The probe that comes with this unit is only rated for 0 to 110 degrees C. However, a different Type J,K,or T type thermocouple probe (with a mini-connector end) can be used to measure temperatures that low.
