Controlling bath fluid temperature can be a challenge, but Cole-Parmer offers a variety of accessories for your bath or circulator product.
Bath fluid allows you to maintain a constant temperature within your bath, from -65°C to 280°C. Use the following guide to select the one that is right for your application:
- Silicone 210 fluid allows you to maintain temperatures between -65 and 280°C and has specific gravity of 0.98
- Dynalene® HC-50 fluid has a temperature range of -50 to 58°C and a specific gravity of 0.85
- Silicone 200 20 (hot) bath fluid creates an environment capable of reaching temperatures between 10 and 149°C with a specific gravity of 0.95
- Silicone 710 (hot) bath fluid allows you to maintain temperatures between 150 and 250°C with a specific gravity of 1.11
Hollow ball bath covers provide insulation for your bath and reduce your vapor loss considerably. Insulating balls are made of HDPE and form a tight cover over your fluid. These hollow bath balls can reduce heat exchange by more than 75 percent.
